Reason for joining LTA: Being of a mixed background, I was looking for an organization that I could relate to and learn and grow from in a collegiate environment.  When I found LTA, I found everything that embodied the person I was, and wanted to be.  Finding a group of like-minded, driven women who support your beliefs and your dreams was like finding a family away from home.  That support system, that sisterhood was well worth becoming a part of.
